Sherry's Hope for Housing

For Sherry, one week at the Valley Mission quickly became one month. Then one month became one year.

After three years at the homeless shelter with limited income and chronic health problems Sherry lost hope that her situation would change.

Two days before last Thanksgiving, however, Sherry held her own apartment keys.  Her story shows what happens when our systems work.

In many cases, though, the system doesn’t work fast.
