About
THIS IS HOME
By Chris Lassiter
Over the past two months, I've had the honor and privilege of partnering with some amazing people on an interactive photo project around housing insecurity.

I am by no means a housing professional.

I'm a lifelong learner (with a whole lot more to learn.)

Out of the wisdom of conversations I had with different people in my community, our team at the Community Foundation teamed up with freelance photographer Kate Simon to create a print photo gallery with an interactive website.

The idea wasn't to exhaust the issue of housing, but simply to make the issue more visible.

And it wasn't necessarily to tell people what to think about housing, but simply to use art to get people to think about housing.
The gallery was first displayed at our 30th anniversary celebration November 9, 2022, but we intentionally created a project that we hoped would live well beyond that.
We imagine the gallery being featured when organizations put on housing conferences, and we'd very much love to hear from you on ways we can maximize the reach of both the print gallery and the interactive website.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me!
