FOXES HAVE HOLES. BIRDS HAVE NESTS.
Through the window of his climate-controlled office, Central United Methodist Church pastor Won Un saw people huddled up and shivering outside - using the church to shield themselves from harsh winds on a frigid day. In Staunton, Augusta County, and Waynesboro, faith communities are grappling with how to help neighbors experiencing housing insecurity, as the number of people reaching out to faith communities has increased dramatically.

And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
- Matthew 8:20
This is the 20th verse of the eighth chapter in the Gospel of Matthew from the New Testament of the Christian Bible. Some point to this verse as revealing the homelessness of Jesus.
